The building scaffold comprises an operation plate, movable plates and connecting rods; the operation plate is of a cuboid structure; a plurality of mounting rods are distributed on the end faces of two sides of the operation plate in an array mode; the connecting rods are movably matched with the mounting rods; sliding grooves are formed in the outer walls of the connecting rods; the movable plates are movably arranged in the sliding grooves; movable grooves are formed in the movable plates; clamping grooves are symmetrically formed in the inner walls of the movable grooves; extensible plates are movably connected to the interiors of the clamping grooves; the connecting plates are fixed to the end faces of the sides, facing the clamping grooves, of the extensible plates; two clamping strips movably matched with the clamping grooves are symmetrically installed on the outer wall of each connecting plate; and the end, away from the operation plate, of the connecting rod on one side is movably connected with a top plate of an I-shaped structure.
