The invention relates to the technical field of scaffolds, and particularly relates to a portable scaffold for constructional engineering. The invention aims to solve the technical problems that the aloft work of workers is liable to cause accidents; the mounting stability of the device needs to be ensured, otherwise, shaking is liable to cause and then the danger is increased; the working height of the device cannot be limited; and meanwhile, parts are prevented from being lost during dismounting. In order to solve the technical problems, the invention provides the portable scaffold for constructional engineering and an adjusting method. The portable scaffold for constructional engineering consists of a base, a shell, a connecting frame, a protection mechanism and a fixing mechanism; through an electric push rod in the shell, the scaffold can be lifted up and descended, so that the device can be used in environments with different heights; and when parts are detached, the parts are placed on the base, a selectable electromagnet module is electrified to generate magnetism, and the detached parts can be adsorbed to the base, so that the loss of small parts is reduced, and the difficulty caused to subsequent work is prevented.
