The invention discloses an ecological restoration mode for a side pool-center beach river channel, and particularly relates to the technical field of ecological restoration. In the ecological restoration mode, water in a side pool area is deep in static flow and high in biological diversity, and a 'collection' of nutritive salt is formed; the nutritive salt in a main river channel is precipitated and degraded after being disturbed and diffused to the side pool area; the purification capacity of the side pool area is relatively high due to the growth of vegetation and animals; and different water depths are suitable for growth of different types of vegetation, and trees and shrubs, emergent aquatic plants, floating-leaved plants and submerged plants are sequentially recovered along with increase of the water depths. According to the restoration mode, ecological restoration engineering is not carried out on an original river channel, the flood discharge capacity of the original river channel is reserved, parallel river channels are constructed on the two sides of the river channel, and the biodiversity and the water quality purification capacity of a restoration area are improved; the prefabricated river channel protection slope is laid, the river bank can be effectively reinforced, and meanwhile, more living space is provided for the river bank, and the repairing effect is improved.
