The embodiment of the invention provides a positioning method and device for ballastless track maintenance equipment. The method comprises the steps that at least two positions of a same plane of maintenance equipment are obtained to serve as positioning adjusting positions; the bearing planes of at least two rail bearing tables serve as positioning datum planes, and each positioning adjusting position corresponds to one positioning datum plane; a transverse reference cambered surface corresponding to each positioning adjusting position is attached to and aligned with the blocking shoulder arc surface of the corresponding rail bearing table; and the vertical distance between the positioning adjusting positions and the corresponding positioning reference surfaces is obtained: under the condition that the vertical distances between the positioning adjusting positions and the corresponding positioning reference surfaces are not equal, the vertical position of at least one positioning adjusting position is adjusted, and the vertical distances between the positioning reference surfaces and the corresponding positioning adjusting positions are equal. The plane where the positioning adjusting position of the maintenance equipment is located can serve as a reference plane of follow-up maintenance operation, and the problem that vertical and transverse positioning of the maintenance equipment and a track plate where the track bearing table is located cannot be adjusted is solved.
