The invention discloses a steel pipe combined supporting structure and a construction method thereof. The steel pipe combined supporting structure comprises a plurality of combined steel pipe columns arranged at intervals and a plurality of supporting rods connected to the combined steel pipe columns; each combined steel pipe column is defined by a plurality of steel pipes; a three-dimensional supporting area is defined by all the combined steel pipe columns; and each supporting rod comprises a top supporting rod body and a side face supporting rod body, wherein the top supporting rod body is arranged on the top of the supporting area, and the side face supporting rod body is arranged on the side vertical face of the supporting area. According to the steel pipe supporting structure, the combined steel pipe columns are arranged for supporting, each combined steel pipe column is defined by the multiple steel pipes, the structural strength and supporting performance of the combined steel pipe columns are obviously higher than those of a single steel pipe, and therefore during arrangement, the distance between the combined steel pipe columns can be set to be larger, the requirement for supporting loads can be met, stability and supporting performance are better, and the steel pipe combined supporting structure can have certain passing performance through the larger distance.
