The invention discloses a sunshade assembly and an electric awning. The sunshade assembly comprises two parallel guide rails, a front beam, a fixed rear beam and a curtain, the curtain is connected between the fixed rear beam and the front beam, the fixed rear beam is fixedly connected to the rear ends of the two guide rails, the front beam is arranged at the front ends of the two guide rails, and a winding assembly capable of winding and releasing the curtain is arranged in the fixed rear beam. An elastic traction assembly is mounted between the front beam and a guide rail; when the winding assembly winds and pulls the curtain on the sunshade assembly to move in the direction of the fixed rear beam, the elastic traction assembly accumulates force, and when the winding assembly removes backward pulling force on the curtain, the curtain moves in the direction away from the fixed rear beam along the guide rail along with the front beam under the traction force of the elastic traction assembly. Therefore, the curtain can move backwards under the action of pulling force and can automatically move backwards under the action of the elastic traction assembly.
