The invention relates to a circulating type intelligent self-service charging method for an electric vehicle. The method comprises the steps that S1, a user parks an electric vehicle on a parking point; S2, a traction motor runs and drives a movable seat and a positioning component to extend to the position below a vehicle body of the electric vehicle; S3, a three-dimensional storage mechanism runs and drives a conveying assembly to make contact with an electric vehicle body, a conveying motor runs and pulls the electric vehicle to move through the conveying assembly, when the electric vehicle makes contact with a sensor a in a parking point, the conveying motor stops running, and a charging socket formed in the side face of the electric vehicle is aligned with a charging plug in a charging component; S4, the traction motor reversely runs and pulls the positioning component and the electric vehicle to enter the garage, and in the process, the charging plug is inserted into the charging socket to charge the electric vehicle; and S5, the three-dimensional storage mechanism operates again, the charging mechanism which stores and charges the electric vehicle moves forwards by a displacement, and meanwhile the next set of empty charging mechanism moves to the position of the vehicle inlet to wait for work.
