The invention discloses an early strength agent which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 5-8 parts of calcium salt, 1-4 parts of aluminum salt, 3-5 parts of sulfate, 4-8 parts of lithium salt, 12-15 parts of a dispersing agent, 0.5-6 parts of a surfactant and 10-20 parts of alcohols. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the early strength agent and cement paste containing the early strength agent. The early strength agent disclosed by the invention can effectively promote the hydration rate of cement paste under a low-temperature condition, is obvious in early strength effect, and can effectively shorten the thickening time under an ultralow-temperature condition, shorten the cementing waiting time and reduce the development cost of an oil and gas well.
