The invention provides a protection system of an underneath pass debris flow gully tunnel. The protection system comprises a tunnel body structure, a drainage structure and a water blocking structure; the drainage structure comprises a first side drainage ditch and a first deep water drainage hole; the water blocking structure comprises a grouting protection layer and a first water blocking wall; the protection system further comprises a surface aqueduct; the surface aqueduct is arranged on the surface above the tunnel body structure and extends in the direction inclined to the horizontal direction; the first water blocking wall is arranged between the upper end of the surface aqueduct and the tunnel body structure and arranged below the surface aqueduct; the first water blocking wall extends downwards from the surface; the inner end of the first deep water drainage hole communicates with the first side drainage ditch; and the first deep water drainage hole extends away from the tunnel body structure and exceeds the grouting protection layer. The protection system comprehensively and effectively solves the safety problem of the underneath pass debris flow gully tunnel, and the tunnel body structure is effectively protected.
