Disclosed in the present invention are a wall panel mounting device and a wall panel mounting method. The wall panel mounting device comprises a mounting assembly and a reinforcement mechanism, wherein the mounting assembly is used for fixing a connecting end of a wall panel to a mounting surface of a frame; the reinforcement mechanism comprises a first reinforcement assembly, which is connected to the mounting assembly, and a second reinforcement assembly, which is movably fitted with the first reinforcement assembly; the first reinforcement assembly is used for connecting to a reinforcement surface of the frame; the second reinforcement assembly is used for connecting to the wall panel; the mounting surface and the reinforcement surface form an included angle; and insofar as the mounting assembly and the first reinforcement assembly are respectively connected to the mounting surface and the reinforcement surface, the second reinforcement assembly is operable to move relative to the first reinforcement assembly in a first direction to extend toward the wall panel, such that the second reinforcement assembly can be connected to the wall panel. By means of the above wall panel mounting device and wall panel mounting method, the connection between the wall panel and the frame can be more secure; moreover, the integration of the mounting assembly and the reinforcement mechanism makes mounting more convenient and rapid.
