The invention discloses a novel material fireproof system for a bridge steel cable. A fireproof layer is wound and wrapped on the outer side of an inhaul cable; the sealing layer is bonded and fixed on the outer side of the fireproof layer; the fastening isolation layer is made of a fluororubber material and is tightly wrapped on the outer side of the sealing layer; the protection layer is of a hard sleeve-shaped structure and is fixedly arranged on the outer side of the fastening isolation layer in a sleeving mode. On the basis of the structure of the fireproof layer and the sealing layer, the fastening sealing layer made of fluororubber and the protective layer of a hard sleeve-shaped structure are additionally arranged, through use of new materials, on the basis of improving stability, the fireproof, protective and isolation effects are further improved, and the high-standard bridge fireproof requirement is met.
