According to the road construction safety protection device, surrounding dust is sucked into the dust removal plate through penetrating through air holes through a draught fan, the dust is filtered out through filtering of the filter screens, a connecting rod is pulled back and forth to drive a cleaning plate to clean the dust on the filter screens, and the protection range can be widened after the connecting rod is pulled to the uppermost portion; and then the cleaned dust is collected and treated through the collecting assembly, the surrounding dust can be filtered and cleaned, and the working environment of surrounding workers is improved.
