The invention discloses a preparation method of large-size block porous TiO2 with a high specific surface area, which comprises the steps of firstly, smelting pure Ti and pure Cu metals into an alloy ingot by adopting a vacuum arc smelting technology, obtaining a large-size micron porous Ti structure with centimeter-level length and width, millimeter-level thickness and certain mechanical properties by utilizing a solid-phase dealloying method, then heating in a muffle furnace, oxidizing, and keeping the temperature for a period of time to finally obtain the large-size porous TiO2 with a macroscopic large size and good mechanical properties.
