According to the invention, the polyvinyl alcohol is used for replacing starch, foreign ions are coated or blocked, the interference of the foreign ions on gypsum crystals and the influence of the foreign ions on migration to the surface of the board are inhibited, and then the influence of the foreign ions on the strength of the gypsum board is reduced.
