The invention discloses a user-defined residence unit. The user-defined residence unit comprises two daylighting bands, two user-defined bands, two communication bands and a service band which are sequentially distributed in parallel from outside to inside; the daylighting bands are formed by enclosing and connecting columns, a building top plate on the top face and a building bottom plate on the bottom face; the user-defined bands are formed by enclosing and connecting side walls, a building top plate on the top surface and a building bottom plate on the bottom surface; the communication bands are formed by enclosing and connecting side walls, a building top plate on the top surface and a building bottom plate on the bottom surface; and the service band is formed by enclosing and connecting side walls, an internal wall, walls of the two core tubes, stairs, a building top plate on the top face and a building bottom plate on the bottom face. The problem that traditional residences difficultly adapt to structural changes of family members due to structural and space limitation is effectively solved, and the residential scene applicability is improved. Communication doors can be arranged at the tail ends of the communication bands, the row residence units are combined for use through the communication doors, and the expansion capacity of the residence units is improved.
