The invention relates to a multipurpose adjustable hinged arm and a machining method. The hinged arm comprises a hinged arm body, a plurality of bearings and fixing bolts; the hinged arm body comprises a supporting arm, a first connecting arm, a hinged support, a second connecting arm and a third connecting arm; one end of the supporting arm is sequentially connected with the first connecting arm and the hinged support, and the other end of the supporting arm is sequentially connected with the second connecting arm and the third connecting arm; a third through hole is formed in the third connecting arm; first through holes matched with the bearings are formed in the supporting arm; first threaded holes are formed in the inner side walls of the first through holes; second threaded holes are correspondingly formed in the outer side walls of the bearings; the plurality of bearings are the same in outer diameter and different in inner diameter; and one bearing is coaxially arranged in the corresponding first through hole through the corresponding fixing bolt, the corresponding first threaded hole and the corresponding second threaded hole. Compared with the prior art, the multipurpose adjustable hinged arm has the beneficial effects of being high in efficiency, low in cost, wide in application range and the like.
