The invention provides a high pier of a continuous rigid frame bridge. The high pier comprises: a pier main body unit which comprises angle steel bars, surrounding baffles, a center reinforcing column and pouring concrete, wherein the four angle steel bars are distributed in a rectangular shape, the surrounding baffles are arranged between the adjacent angle steel bars, the angle steel bars and the surrounding baffles form a square cylinder, the center reinforcing column is located in the middle of the interior of the square cylinder, and pouring concrete is poured in the square cylinder; a pier base assembly which is mounted at the bottom of the square cylinder; and a deformation buffering unit which comprises a fixed square plate, a buffering movable plate, a turning buffering assembly and a vertical buffering assembly, wherein the fixed square plate is fixed to the top of the square cylinder, and the middle of the surface of the fixed square plate is connected with the center of the bottom of the buffering movable plate through the turning buffering assembly. The requirement for deformation of the continuous rigid frame bridge can be met while the rigidity requirement of the high bridge pier is met, the bottom structure of the high bridge pier is firm and not prone to inclination, and safety can be improved.
