The invention discloses a construction method for cast-in-place of a single-column pier capping beam. The method comprises the following steps: 1, pre-burying a PVC pipe in a single-column pier; 2, manufacturing a supporting steel column; 3, hoisting a pier attaching supporting frame; 4, constructing a longitudinal beam at the top of the supporting steel column; and 5, laying a capping beam template and casting the capping beam in situ. The method is simple in steps and reasonable in design, the pier attaching supporting frame is formed through construction of the supporting steel column and the longitudinal beam, the structure is simple and light, assembly and disassembly are convenient and fast, the supporting frame is installed on the pile foundation, and the method effectively adapts to construction of the single-column pier cover beam in water or in the soft stratum.
