The invention discloses a fixing device for an embedded steel bar connector and a construction method. The fixing device comprises fixing ribs, fixing sleeves and fixing steel wires. The fixing sleeves are mechanically connected, and the fixing ribs of the embedded steel bar connector are firmly fixed to steel bars of a steel reinforcement cage through the design of concave grooves and convex grooves and the fixing steel wires. The open end of the embedded steel bar connector to be connected is sealed through a protective cover, and dust, impurities and concrete are prevented from entering the open end to pollute and block the open end. Strong magnetic protective strips are installed on the outer sides of protective covers of embedded steel bar connectors on the same connecting line of an underground diaphragm wall, and the situation that the protective covers are lost or damaged in the process of lowering the steel reinforcement cage or pouring concrete is prevented. The positions of the strong magnetic protective strips are detected and determined through a strong magnetic measuring instrument, so that the positions of the embedded steel bar connectors are accurately positioned, and the digging-out efficiency and survival rate of the embedded steel bar connectors in the underground diaphragm wall can be effectively improved. The protective covers and the strong magnetic protective strips can be recycled, and the fixing device conforms to the energy-saving, green and environment-friendly building concept.
