According to the method, the damaged bracket of a bridge is reinforced unilaterally, the economical and feasible damaged bracket of the bridge is reinforced unilaterally to achieve the reinforcing effect, parts are light in weight and small in size, only a crane needs to be used for installation, erecting of a support and unloading of a jack are avoided, and traffic closing is avoided.
