The invention provides a post-cast strip leakage-proof system and a construction method thereof. The post-cast strip leakage-proof system comprises a post-cast strip, a basement bottom plate, an upper water baffle and a lower water baffle, wherein the post-cast strip is located at a gap reserved in the basement bottom plate, the basement bottom plate, the upper water baffle and the lower water baffle are distributed on the periphery of the post-cast strip, the upper water baffle is detachably installed on the upper surface of the basement bottom plate, and the lower water baffle is fixed to the bottom of the basement bottom plate. The upper water baffle is arranged, and the waterproof problem of water seepage of the upper portion of the basement bottom plate is solved; a water stop steel plate is installed on the lower water baffle through a connecting device, installation is convenient and fast, and the possibility of installation errors is reduced; and the lower water baffle adopts a multi-waterproof structure, so that the situation that accumulated water permeates into a post-cast strip area due to failure of a single structure and the construction period is affected is avoided.
