The invention discloses an inverted roof structure and a construction method thereof. The inverted roof structure comprises a roof panel, a waterproof layer, a concrete protection layer, a heat preservation layer, a concrete surface layer, a prefabricated exhaust assembly and sealing ointment; the waterproof layer is laid at the upper part of the roof panel; the concrete protection layer is poured at the upper part of the waterproof layer; the heat preservation layer is laid on the upper portion of the protection layer, and a containing hole is formed in the heat preservation layer; the concrete surface layer is poured on the upper portion of the heat preservation layer, and a mounting hole communicating with the containing hole is reserved in the concrete surface layer; the prefabricated exhaust assembly comprises a pier column and an exhaust pipe, the pier column is embedded in the mounting hole, the exhaust pipe is vertically embedded in the pier column, and the lower end of the exhaust pipe extends out of the pier column and is embedded in the containing hole; and the space between the inner wall of the mounting hole and the outer wall of the pier column is filled with the sealing ointment. The problem that roof water seepage is easily caused by poor waterproof treatment of the root of the exhaust pipe of the inverted roof is solved.
