The invention relates to a road surface drawing lamp unit and a road surface drawing method of a lamp. The present invention addresses the problem of providing a road surface drawing lamp unit and a road surface drawing method for a lamp, whereby a pedestrian can easily pay attention to a drawing pattern on a road surface. The road surface drawing lamp unit (10) comprises a road surface drawing light distribution forming part (22) which irradiates light towards the lower part of a specified height in order to draw a road surface; and a pedestrian light distribution forming unit (24) that irradiates light above a predetermined height in synchronization with the irradiation of light generated by the road surface drawing light distribution forming unit (22).
