The invention discloses a grain-oriented lutetium silicate ceramic material and a preparation method thereof. The lutetium silicate ceramic material is prepared by slip casting of magnetic lutetium silicate powder slurry in a strong magnetic field and subsequent sintering. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: by taking LuCl3. 6H2O, GdCl3. 6H2O, CeCl3. 7H2O and TEOS (tetraethyl orthosilicate) as raw materials, performing proportioning according to a stoichiometric ratio, and preparing a lutetium silicate precursor by adopting a sol-gel method; and calcining the precursor in the air at 1200 DEG C for 2 hours to obtain single-phase lutetium silicate powder; doping the lutetium silicate powder with Gd so as to enhance the magnetism of the material; carrying out ball milling on the powder for 24 hours to eliminate large particle aggregation, thereby obtaining the water-based slurry. and finally, performing slip casting in a high-intensity magnetic field to form a biscuit with directionally arranged grains, and then sintering the biscuit to obtain the grain-oriented lutetium silicate ceramic. The relative density of the grain-oriented lutetium silicate ceramic is greater than 97%, the texture factor in the (020) crystal face direction reaches 95%, and the introduction of Gd plays a significant role in improving the grain orientation degree of the lutetium silicate ceramic material.
本发明公开了一种晶粒定向硅酸镥陶瓷材料及其制备方法,所述的硅酸镥陶瓷通过采用磁性硅酸镥粉体浆料在强磁场中注浆成型及随后的烧结而制备。制备流程包括如下步骤:以LuCl3·6H2O,GdCl3·6H2O,CeCl3·7H2O和TEOS(正硅酸乙酯)为原料,按照化学计量比配比,采用溶胶‑凝胶法制备硅酸镥前驱体。将前驱体在1200℃空气中煅烧2h,得到单一物相的硅酸镥粉体。为了增强材料的磁性,在硅酸镥粉体中掺杂了Gd。之后对粉体进行24h球磨消除大颗粒团聚,得到水基浆料。最终在强磁场中注浆成型形成晶粒定向排列的素坯,随后烧结得到晶粒定向硅酸镥陶瓷。本发明的晶粒定向硅酸镥陶瓷相对密度大于97%,沿(020)晶面方向的织构因子达到95%,Gd的引入对于提高硅酸镥陶瓷材料晶粒定向程度具有显著作用。
