The invention provides a multi-purpose lane implementation method based on double tide guardrails, belongs to the technical field of traffic road and facility research, and solves the problems that automobiles in a city are difficult to park, and non-motorized vehicle lanes are occupied at present. The method comprises the steps that: firstly, traffic flow information is obtained through an automatic module, the traffic flow information comprises a low peak period, a normal period and a peak period, state information of a multi-purpose lane is obtained, the state information comprises a tidal parking space state and a motor vehicle lane state, and the multi-purpose lane refers to a motor vehicle lane which is provided with tidal parking spaces and is adjacent to a non-motor vehicle lane; when the traffic flow information is in a low peak period, the multi-purpose lane is used as a tidal parking space for parking, and when the traffic flow information is in a normal or peak period, the multi-purpose lane is used as a motor vehicle lane for not parking; then, according to the state and traffic flow information of the multi-purpose lane, moving positions of tide guardrails arranged in two traffic directions of the road respectively are obtained; and finally, the moving position of the tide guardrails is analyzed, and whether the tidal parking space can enter a parking state or not is judged.
