The invention discloses a connecting and sealing system for vertical laying of an impermeable membrane. The connecting and sealing system comprises a first sealing structure and a second sealing structure, wherein the first sealing structure and the second sealing structure are respectively mounted on two sides of the impermeable membrane; the first sealing structure comprises a plurality of first locking pieces which are sequentially connected. A second guide pipe in the second sealing structure slides into a first guide pipe in the first sealing structure through a guide groove of the first sealing structure to form a whole body; a hydraulic cementing impermeable material is poured into the second guide pipe of the second sealing structure; slurry of the hydraulic cementing impermeable material in the second guide pipe can be extruded out of a slurry hole in the side body of the second guide pipe and fills an annular gap between the first guide pipe and the second guide pipe; the hydraulic cementing impermeable material is solidified in the second guide pipe and the annular gap between the first guide pipe and the second guide pipe to form a sealed impermeable body, so that an impermeable whole body is formed; the technical problem of poor sealing and impermeable effects between the impermeable membranes in the prior art is solved.
