The invention discloses a beam falling prevention device with friction energy dissipation and self-resetting functions. The beam falling prevention device comprises a metal shell, a high-strength bolt, a reset spring, a variable-friction high-damping rubber pad, a U-shaped energy dissipation counter-force plate, a limiting prestress device, a guiding pulley device, a pre-tightening bolt and a limiting anchorage device. One end of the reset spring is welded with the U-shaped energy dissipation counter-force plate, and the other end of the reset spring is welded with the metal shell to form a whole; one end of the limiting prestress device penetrates through the metal shell and the U-shaped energy dissipation counter-force plate through a hole channel and is connected with the U-shaped energy dissipation counter-force plate through the limiting anchorage device. The guiding pulley device is connected with a bridge abutment through the high-strength bolt, and the limiting prestress device is steered through the guiding pulley device, is connected with a main beam on the upper portion of a bridge through the limiting anchorage device and exerts certain pretightening force to balance the reset spring. The device has the advantages of being convenient to construct, simple in structure, clear in stress, low in manufacturing cost, convenient to inspect and maintain and the like, and the device can be rapidly replaced after being damaged in an earthquake.
