The invention discloses self-leveling mortar which comprises the following materials in percentage by weight: 20-70% of high-strength gypsum powder, 0-30% of light calcium carbonate powder, 0-50% of heavy calcium carbonate powder, 0-40% of Portland cement, 0-20% of high-alumina cement, 0-30% of quartz sand, 0.1-3% of cellulose ether, 0.1-3% of a water reducing agent, 0.1-3% of a dispersing agent, 0.1-10% of a powdery adhesive and 1-5% of a gypsum retarder. Through superposition of functions of the water reducing agent, the gypsum retarder, the dispersing agent, the powdery adhesive and the like, the overall performance of the self-leveling mortar is improved, and the self-leveling mortar has the characteristics of water resistance, wear resistance and one-time construction thickness of 3-50mm, can be applied to various indoor and outdoor environments, and saves a large amount of labor cost while remarkably improving the building decoration quality.
