The invention discloses a method for preparing porous ceramics of which the pore sizes are in gradient distribution from the surface to the interior by using potassium feldspar washing waste. The method comprises the following steps: mixing and milling the potash feldspar washing waste with silicon carbide, and drying and sieving the mixture to obtain a porous ceramic powder raw material; uniformly paving the porous ceramic powder raw material into a crucible with air permeability on the outer wall and at the bottom, compacting by vibration, performing high-temperature heating and heat preservation in a nitrogen atmosphere, and introducing a certain amount of air in the heat preservation process, so as to prepare the porous ceramic of which the pore size is gradually reduced from the surface to the inside. The method provided by the invention is simple in technological process, complex heating and cooling procedures and other special treatment means are not needed, and the porous ceramic of which the pore sizes are in gradient distribution from the surface to the interior can be prepared only by controlling the amount of introduced air.
