The invention discloses hanging film hollow glass and a manufacturing method thereof. The hanging film hollow glass comprises front glass, rear glass, spacing frames, hanging films and structural adhesive, the spacing frames are bonded to the corresponding positions of the peripheries of the front glass and the rear glass, one hanging film is hung between every two adjacent spacing frames, the lower end of each hanging film is fixedly connected with a bottom rod of which the length is matched with the width of each hanging film, and cavities are formed between the hanging films and the front and rear glass as well as between the hanging films; and spaces formed by the front glass, the rear glass and the outer sides of the spacing frames are fully coated with the structural adhesive, and after the structural adhesive is cured, the double-cavity or multi-cavity hanging film hollow glass is formed. The manufacturing method of the hanging film hollow glass has the characteristics of being simple in process, convenient to manufacture, low in cost and large in productivity.
