According to the production method of the moderate-strength steel rail, the hardness of the produced moderate-strength steel rail is 350-370 HB, the abrasion loss is smaller than or equal to 0.40 g, the contact fatigue life is larger than or equal to 50000 times, and the rail web opening degree of the 610 mm long steel rail is smaller than or equal to 3.0 mm/400 mm.
