The invention discloses a manufacturing method of a ceramic artwork, which comprises the following steps: a, material preparation: preparing clay from a clay raw material to obtain a product A; b,mud softening: kneading the product A to form a product B with the moisture content of 15-24%; c, mud pressing: compressing the product B into a mud plate through a mud pressing plate to obtain the mud plate, namely, a product C; d, blasting: blasting the product C to form recesses and/or radial lines in the mud plate to obtain the product D; e, finishing: finishing the product D into a required pattern to obtain a product E; and f, firing: firing the product E at 1150-1400 DEG C to obtain a finished product. The method has the characteristics of strong stereoscopic impression, high strength and simple process.
