The invention relates to the technical field of soil curing, in particular to a long-acting microcapsule type soil curing agent as well as a preparation method and an application method thereof. The curing agent comprises a wall material and a core material; the wall material wraps the periphery of the core material; the wall material is prepared from urea resin, melamino-formaldehyde resin, polyurethane and sodium hypochlorite according to a certain proportion; the core material is prepared from silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, potassium chloride, potassium sulfate, aluminum sulfate, sodium chloride, calcium chloride and magnesium sulfate according to a certain proportion. The invention has the following advantages: the capsule wall material is broken under different conditions to realize long-acting sustained release of the curing agent so as to achieve the purposes of self-healing and sustained effect; meanwhile, chemical substances in the core material can generate gel and a crystal structure in the soil body, so that a soil body reinforcing effect is achieved.
