The invention relates to a rainwater collecting and recycling system based on glass pumice. The system comprises a strip-shaped rainwater collecting pool formed by digging holes in a greening land parcel, wherein the cross section of the rainwater collecting pool is step-shaped; a glass pumice layer is laid in the rainwater collecting pool; the glass pumice layer comprises a glass pumice layer I and a glass pumice layer II from bottom to top; a rainwater storage and purification pool is arranged beside the rainwater collection pool, and a water inlet of the rainwater storage and purification pool is communicated with a water outlet of the glass pumice layer through a pipeline. The invention relates to a rainwater collecting and recycling system based on glass pumice, which effectively utilizes permeation, filtration, purification and water storage performance of the glass pumice to maximally recycle rainwater and supply water to green plants in plants and workshops, so water resources are saved, manual irrigation is not needed, maintenance cost of the green plants is greatly reduced, the water cost of a workshop is saved, and the whole system is convenient to popularize and use.
