The construction method comprises the steps that a base layer is cleaned; waterproof treatment is performed on the edge and the additional layer; an insulation board is laid on the base layer; a corrugated asphalt waterproof plate is laid on the heat preservation plate; roof battens are installed on the waveform asphalt waterproof board, and anchor bolts sequentially penetrate through the roof battens, the wave crests of the waterproof board and the heat preservation board and are fixed to the base layer; and a roof is mounted on the roof battens. According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, the waveform asphalt waterproof plate is a three-dimensional waterproof plate which integrates the structure and the self-waterproof function, and the waveform asphalt waterproof plate is upright waterproof, so that the waterproof performance is more reliable; materials are few, the weight is light, construction is fast, integration is achieved, and compared with a traditional pitched roof system, the comprehensive cost performance is higher; the asphalt waterproof plate roof system is subjected to full-dry operation, so that the construction is not greatly influenced by rainy seasons and winter, and a wet base layer can still be constructed, so that the construction period is shortened.
