The invention relates to a preparation method of an alumina-zirconia ceramic sagger, and relates to the field of high-temperature ceramics, wherein the preparation method comprises the steps: adding 55-65% of alumina with Al2O3 greater than or equal to 98.5 wt%, 15-25% of stable zirconia with ZrO2+Y2O3 greater than or equal to 99.5 wt%, 10-15% of monoclinic zirconia with ZrO2 greater than or equal to 99.5 wt%, and 10-15% of an additive into a ball mill or a stirring mill according to the mass percentage, then adding an aqueous solution accounting for 35-50% of the total amount of the raw materials, mixing and grinding for 4-6 hours to prepare slurry, preparing a granulated material by using a spray granulator, filling the granulated material into a rubber mold, putting the mold into an isostatic press, carrying out compression molding, and sintering a molded green body at the temperature of 1450-1550 DEG C. The volume density of the prepared compact ceramic sagger is 4.3-4.5 g/cm<3>, the apparent porosity is less than or equal to 0.1%, and the normal-temperature breaking strength is larger than or equal to 400 mPa; and the sagger is resistant to corrosion, impermeable, non-sticky and free of slag falling in the high-temperature using process, and any super-strong corrosive lithium battery positive electrode material can be calcined.
