The monitoring device comprises a bus shelter body, wherein a bench is connected to the bottom of the back face of an inner cavity of the bus shelter body in a bolted mode; a fixing box is connected to the right side of the top of the inner cavity of the bus shelter body in a bolted mode; an adjusting mechanism is arranged in an inner cavity of the fixing box; the bottom of the adjusting mechanism penetrates through the fixing box and is connected to a box body in a bolted mode; and the bottom of the box body is connected to a fixing base in a bolted mode through a connecting column. According to the invention, through cooperation of a motor, a first rotating shaft, a first gear, a second gear, a second rotating shaft, a fixing ring, a fixing column, a fixing ring, a limiting column and a positioning column, a user can conveniently adjust left and right positions of a camera, and a monitoring range of the monitoring device is expanded; and through cooperation of a multi-section air cylinder, a guide column and a movable rod, the user can conveniently use the multi-section air cylinder to drive the camera to swing under the assistance of the fixing base, so that an up-down monitoring range of the camera is adjusted.
