The invention relates to a drainage ditch structure for preventing frost heaving cracking and a construction method thereof. The drainage ditch structure comprises a foundation pit and a cast-in-place concrete drainage ditch, wherein the cast-in-place concrete drainage ditch is arranged in the foundation pit; geofilms are laid on the side slopes on the two sides of the foundation pit, and loofah sponge and backfill soil are arranged between the two sides of the cast-in-place concrete drainage ditch and the side slopes on the two sides; plain soil is arranged between the cast-in-place concrete drainage ditch and the bottom surface of the foundation pit; the concrete grade of the plain soil is C20 or C15, and the concrete grade of the cast-in-place concrete drainage ditch is C30; three rows of loofah sponges are placed on each of the two sides of the cast-in-place concrete drainage ditch, and the loofah sponges in the same row are arranged up and down. The drainage ditch structure is advantaged in that the loofah sponge has large structural gaps and also has characteristics of compression volume shrinkage and pressure relief volume recovery, the loofah sponge is laid between the ditch and the soil body around the ditch, frost heaving stress generated by frost heaving of the soil body around the drainage ditch can be effectively resisted, and therefore a problem of frost heaving cracking of the drainage ditch in the alpine region is prevented.
