The invention provides a titanium diboride-based metal composite ceramic material. The titanium diboride-based metal composite ceramic material at least comprises TiB2, FeNi and Ti3Al. The invention also provides a preparation method of the titanium diboride-based metal composite ceramic material. According to the preparation method, FeNi and Ti3Al are introduced as additives, so that the sintering performance of titanium diboride is improved, an oxide layer on the surface of titanium diboride can be removed, abnormal growth of TiB2 grains is avoided, and preparation of the high-strength and high-toughness titanium diboride-based metal composite ceramic material is realized.
