The invention discloses a test device and method for simulating foundation pit dewatering. The device comprises a model box, a supporting leg type organic glass filter plate (7), an enclosure structure organic glass plate (9), a monitoring device, a water injection device and the like. In the length direction of the model box, the model box is divided into three parts, namely a water injection area (4), a water seepage area (5) and a foundation pit simulation area (6) from left to right, by a supporting leg type organic glass filter plate and an enclosure structure organic glass plate which are vertical to the long side surface and the bottom surface of the model box; and two parallel grooves (8) are formed in the bottom of the model box. According to the test device and method for simulating foundation pit dewatering, a model test is carried out on a foundation soil body of an actual engineering project, and the conditions of enclosure structure deformation, ground surface settlement, water level change outside a pit and the like under the condition of dewatering are simulated; more accurate test data can be provided for actual engineering, and indoor model data support can be provided for optimization of a precipitation well arrangement mode.
