The invention discloses a building suspension split type shock insulation firewall and a construction method thereof.The wall comprises a suspension mechanism, a shock insulation firewall body and a sliding mechanism, the shock insulation firewall body comprises a light steel keel rectangular frame, a rock wool layer and two fireproof partition plates, the suspension mechanism comprises an upper suspension piece and a lower suspension piece, and the upper suspension piece comprises an upper suspension wall body fixing plate and a suspension lug; the lower suspension part comprises a sealing plate part and a wall body suspension hook, an upper fireproof sealing layer is arranged between the upper suspension wall body fixing plate and the sealing plate part, and lower fireproof sealing layers are arranged at the bottom of the shock insulation firewall and on the aerated concrete block wall; the method comprises the following steps: 1, constructing the aerated concrete block wall; 2, construction of the seismic isolation firewall; 3, mounting upper and lower suspension pieces and a sliding mechanism of the shock insulation firewall; 4, mounting the upper suspension piece; 5, mounting and constructing the shock insulation firewall; and sixthly, the fireproof sealing layer is installed and constructed. The design is reasonable, and the problem of decoupling between displacement of an upper structure and a lower fixing structure of a seismic isolation building is solved.
