A prefabricated building member for constructing a multi-floor building. The building component is an outer wall panel formed by a wood aggregate, and building components such as windows, outer wall veneers and connecting pieces are integrated with other building components. The building component includes a containment sub-panel, a feature member such as a window or door, a thermal insulation layer and a cladding layer, where the containment sub-panel includes an upper beam along its top edge and a lower beam along its bottom edge, and a plurality of spacers disposed between the upper beam and the lower beam, one or more openings for receiving the feature members are defined by the first and second fixing parts; wherein the thermal insulation layer is attached to the containment sub-panel and is provided with one or more openings corresponding to the feature members; wherein the cladding layer covers and is attached to the thermal insulation layer.
