The method comprises the following steps: removing steel facing surfaces of the waste magnesia carbon bricks; the method comprises the following steps: crushing the waste magnesia carbon bricks into particles with the specification of 0-5mm, and removing iron in the particles; soaking the crushed particles in water for 24-48 hours; adding an alcohol compound, mixing and grinding for 15-30 minutes, and ageing for more than 1 hour; oxidizing the waste magnesia carbon bricks subjected to ageing treatment in an oxygen atmosphere at the temperature of 1250-1350 DEG C for 50-90 minutes; the accumulation of the waste magnesia carbon bricks is reduced, the prepared fused magnesite is effectively recycled, the problem of shortage of fused magnesite resources is solved, and the mining quantity of magnesium resources is also saved.
