The method comprises the steps that a protection platform is installed; the assembling supports are arranged at the top of the mounting protection platform in the longitudinal bridge direction, and the tops of the assembling supports are used for supporting the bent arch bridge; the assembling support comprises a plurality of support units, and the support units are distributed in the transverse bridge direction and can stretch out and draw back in the vertical direction. The moving device is connected to the bottom of the installation protection platform so as to move the installation protection platform and the assembling support. The installation protection platform can provide safety protection for passing vehicles below and is used as an installation construction platform; the assembling support supports the arch ribs in the transverse bridge direction and the longitudinal bridge direction and can stably support the two arch ribs needing to be connected so that the two arch ribs can be conveniently connected. In addition, the assembling support can stretch out and draw back in the vertical direction and can be matched with the shape change of the arch rib, and therefore effective and stable supporting can be conducted in three directions.
