The invention discloses an overwater platform different-diameter pile limiting protection device and a construction method thereof.The overwater platform different-diameter pile limiting protection device comprises a protection device body inversely hung on a steel casing, the protection device body is formed by vertically splicing two or more mounting units, and each mounting unit comprises an annular steel plate, a supporting column and a mounting footstand; four supporting columns are uniformly distributed above the annular steel plate along the circumference, the supporting columns are vertically mounted on the annular steel plate, the free ends of the supporting columns are fixedly connected with the annular steel plate at the bottom of the other mounting unit, and the mounting footstands are fixedly arranged at the free ends of the supporting columns on one mounting unit. According to the limiting protection device for the reducing pile of the water platform, during construction, the protection device body can be machined on the ground in advance, and after the steel pile casing is immersed, the limiting protection device is reversely hung in the pile casing, so that the construction period is shortened.
