Bending-shearing coupling type metal damper
The invention discloses a bending-shearing coupling type metal damper which comprises a shearing steel plate, a bending steel plate, an upper end plate and a lower end plate. Cross section optimization design is performed on the shearing steel plate and the bending steel plate according to distribution of shearing force and bending moment, so that all cross sections of the steel plates yield simultaneously, and upper and lower end plates are perforated to facilitate bolt connection. The shearing steel plate and the bending steel plate are welded with the upper and lower end plates. The bent steel plates are symmetrically distributed on the two sides of the shearing steel plate, and the effect of preventing the shearing steel plate from buckling out of the plane and losing stability is achieved. An energy dissipation mechanism of the damper comprises bending deformation of the bent steel plate and shearing deformation of the shearing steel plate, and therefore the damper has high energy dissipation capacity. And moreover, by reasonably designing parameters such as sizes and materials of the bent steel plate and the shear steel plate, the damper can have a relatively large yield stiffness ratio, so that residual deformation is effectively reduced. The device has the advantages of being simple in structure, easy to machine, easy to assemble and disassemble, high in energy dissipation capacity, high in deformation recovery capacity and the like.
