The invention discloses a method for preparing concrete by using porous basalt as aggregate. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, crushing and screening the porous basalt to obtain porous basalt machine-made sand with the particle size of less than 4.75 mm and porous basalt coarse aggregate with the particle size of 4.75-19 mm; 2, weighing the porous basalt machine-made sand and the porous basalt coarse aggregate according to the raw material formula of the concrete, pouring into a stirrer, and uniformly stirring to form a mixture; the raw material formula of the concrete comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 300 to 500 parts by weight of cement, 50 to 90 parts by weight of fly ash, 450 to 700 parts by weight of porous basalt machine-made sand, 1150 to 1200 parts by weight of porous basalt coarse aggregate, 7 to 12 parts by weight of a water reducing agent and 170 to 190 parts by weight of water. The porous basalt aggregate disclosed by the invention is used for concrete, has many pores and is very hard, so that when the porous basalt aggregate is mixed in the concrete, the weight of the concrete can be reduced, but the concrete is still very firm, and the porous basalt aggregate has the characteristics of sound insulation, heat insulation and the like, and is a good aggregate of lightweight concrete for high-rise buildings.
