The invention discloses a radial-stopping falling prevention device which comprises a follow-up chain wheel shaft, a follow-up chain wheel, a stopping wheel and a radial stopping unit, wherein the axis of the follow-up chain wheel shaft is horizontally arranged, the follow-up chain wheel freely rotates around the follow-up chain wheel shaft, the stopping wheel is connected with the follow-up chain wheel in a fastened mode and coaxially installed, and a first stopping structure is manufactured on the outer circumference of the stopping wheel. The radial stopping unit comprises a stopping mechanism consisting of a stopping element and a mounting seat, and a displacement driving mechanism consisting of an electromagnetic driving linear displacement element and a resetting element which are triggered to operate by an output signal of the equipment control system; one end of the stop element is provided with a stop structure II matched with the stop mechanism I, the other end of the stop element can perform horizontal reciprocating displacement in the mounting seat, and the mounting position corresponds to the horizontal radial position of the stop wheel; the reset state of the displacement driving mechanism enables the first stop mechanism and the second stop mechanism to be meshed or combined, and the car carrying plate is prevented from falling. And in the action state, the first stop mechanism is separated from the second stop mechanism, and lifting operation of the vehicle carrying plate is not hindered.
