The invention discloses a multi-storey house exhaust system and a control method thereof.The multi-storey house exhaust system comprises an exhaust channel, air purification equipment and a control system, the exhaust channel is vertically arranged, the air purification equipment is arranged at the top end of the exhaust channel, a plurality of vertically-arranged air inlets are formed in the outer wall of the exhaust channel, and a pipeline fan is arranged in the exhaust channel; the pipeline fan and the air inlet are staggered, an adjusting valve for controlling the opening area of the air inlet is arranged at the air inlet, and the pipeline fan and the air purification equipment are electrically connected with the control system. The pipeline fan is arranged in the exhaust channel of the exhaust system of the multi-storey house and electrically connected with the control system, so that negative pressure within a certain range value can be formed in the exhaust channel, and therefore, air near the air inlet can be sucked into the exhaust channel by opening the adjusting valve in the house with the air inlet communicated with the air inlet. The trouble of installing a smoke exhaust ventilator and an exhaust fan in a house is avoided, and noise is reduced.
