The invention provides a TMD control system based on rotational inertia virtual translation inertial mass. The TMD control system comprises a fixed block, a mass block, a lead screw, a spring, a flywheel, a sleeve, a ball, a bearing, a main structure and an embedded fixed groove. The fixing block is mounted in an embedded fixing groove of the main structure; the two ends of the lead screw are in shaft connection with the fixing blocks through bearings, so that the lead screw freely rotates in the fixing blocks. The end part of the lead screw is fixedly connected with the flywheel through a bolt; the waist part of the lead screw and the external sleeve form a ball screw sleeve in a preset slide way through a ball; the exterior of the sleeve is fixedly connected with the mass block, and the mass block is arranged on the main structure and connected in a sliding fit mode; and a spring is connected between the fixed block and the mass block. The device is small in occupied space, very small in actual physical mass, good in control effect, convenient to install and popularize and capable of restraining or reducing vibration of the structure.
